introduction
People always argue about the development of a city. A construction plan can be disputed since it was come out till it has already been done.Once, you read the news, there will always be a whole page to discuss the city changes. Recently, one of the most bustling streets in Singapore, Orchard Road has just completed rejuvenation. People certainly discuss about whether it is nice or not. A lot of people complained that the country invested $40 million dollars. Nevertheless, there were only a few changes taken place. It was worthless and impractical. However, in my opinion, the government has done a good job. It was indeed needed to decorate the Orchard Road. On one hand, it was to improve the image of Singapore. On the other hand, carrying on some infrastructure construction could improve the quality of civilians’ life, also could provide more jobs, especially we are during the finical crisis.
